Katie (Powell) Roettger is the owner of Katie Powell Hair and has been in the industry since 2013. Katie is a Georgia peach born and raised. Her hair dreams started around age seven when she started coloring her doll's hair with food coloring, as well as the occasional attempt to give them extensions...and she didn't stop there. Katie continued to experiment with hair and makeup throughout the years and landed herself in Cosmetology school after high school while also working part-time as an assistant at a hair salon in Fayetteville, Georgia. Upon receiving an Associates Degree and a certificate in Cosmetology, Katie began to work full-time as a hair stylist at an Atlanta based salon at the age of twenty. She went on to open her own business in 2017 and that is when Katie Powell Hair was born. After 8 beautiful years of working behind the chair in Georgia, Katie and her husband were ready for a new adventure. When her husband was offered a job in Cheyenne, Wyoming, they packed up their bags, the dog and the cat, and drove across the country in August 2021. Katie is now located at Bello Studio Suites in Cheyenne. Some of Katie's accomplishments include: attending Bumble and Bumble University in NYC twice for styling and men's cutting, being nominated for "Best Of 2016" best hair colorist, attending "Wella What's Next" awards, being featured by @modernsalon on Instragram, attending Ryan Weeden's Masters of Balayage class, attending a cutting class from Hanzo Nation, attending Matrix color education with Tabatha Coffey, attending a cutting class with “What Not to Wear” hairstylist Nick Arrojo, color training under Ashlee Norman, coloring and styling celebrity hair, top 50 finalist for The Balayage Awards with Masters of Balayage, and becoming Olaplex, Barbicide, K18, and Bello Haven Hair extensions certified. Cancellation Policy

At Katie Powell Hair I reserve an uninterrupted appointment spot for you and only you. I do not double book and you have my full attention. DEPOSITS: Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance but are applied towards your future appointment. CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS: I require a notice of at least 24 hours to cancel an appointment. If you fail to do so you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service which is non-refundable and will not be applied to future appointments. If you no call/ no show for your appointment you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service and will not be able to book again. LATE POLICY: I have a grace period of 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, you are subject to being rescheduled to a different day and charged a non-refundable late cancellation fee of 50% of your scheduled service. This fee will not be applied towards future services. Please text me if you are running late. 307-222-9228 ADJUSTMENT POLICY: I’m very passionate about the hair I create and I stand by my work. I do not refund for any hair service; I only make adjustments (within reason). In the event you are unhappy with the outcome of your hair service, let me know asap. You have 10 days from the original appointment to make adjustments without being charged for another service. No exceptions to any of these policies. Thank you for your continued support.
